This celebration commemorates the St. Peter the apostle’s death. It has been traditionally celebrated in the coastal villages with fishing or sailing tradition since he is the patron saint of sailors and fishermen.

St Peter’s Programme in Gorliz
In the program of these festivals the topic of interest on which the attention is focused is the sardinada (sardines’ barbecue). It is held at dinner time and most of the village and visitors are encouraged to attend.
In order to whet, before the sardinada, there are some shows or games, it depends on the year, and then sardines are eaten more hungrily. Meanwhile, the party is set with music and soft festive atmosphere until the music begins for the open-air dance. While the open-air dance takes place, the fire bull takes place to satisfy all audiences.
