The Provincial Council of BIzkaia has defined them as “Cholesterol Routes” and they are designed to be done both on foot and by bike.

15 circular routes from Gorliz, designed by Pedro Pablo Uriarte Astarloa to perform with the youngest of the house.

“Going with children to the mountains has no problem but to keep their interest constantly so they don‘t get bored. It is very difficult for children not to be able to physically endure six, eight, ten, twelve or more kilometers of walking in the woods, including slopes. However, if we manage to keep their interest they will not feel any more tired than we do and will rise without excessive problems.
