With the aim of promoting recreational and healthy swimming in a safe and autonomous way on the beaches of the coast of Bizkaia, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia has launched the Igeribideak initiative.
Gorliz is one of the pilot municipalities within the project and therefore the beach of Gorliz has, in the summer season, a marked area for safe swimming. In addition, you can check the sea conditions live through this webcam: http://webcam.gorliz.net/
At the access to the beach of Gorliz you can consult interesting information about swimming in the sea and the Igeribideak project.
Also, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia has a website where you can find out about recommendations, the beaches attached to the initiative and everything you need to swim in the sea.
